Trading Rules & Evaluation Terms.

Version 1.0 · Last updated: June 2026 · Part of the VEDEX Terms of Service

Official PDF: English · Русский · Español · हिन्दी · 中文

Governing language

This English version is the original and legally binding version. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only; in case of any discrepancy, this English version prevails.

These Trading Rules & Evaluation Terms (the “Rules”) form part of the VEDEX Terms of Service and apply to all evaluation and funded accounts. VEDEX provides access to a simulated trading environment; a fee is charged for participation in a challenge, and payouts are paid on simulated performance under these Rules.

By purchasing any challenge and confirming “I agree to the Rules”, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Rules. They should be read together with the full Terms of Service, which govern payments, eligibility, liability and governing law.

How consequences work

Every rule below falls into one of three categories. Knowing which category a rule belongs to tells you exactly what happens if it is not met.

  1. Account failure (hard breach). Breaking a risk limit or a prohibited practice ends the account. These are the only rules that can fail your account.
  2. Pass & payout conditions. These are not breaches. If a condition is not met, your account stays active — you simply keep trading until it is satisfied.
  3. Red flags (risk tier). Risky behavior does not close your account. It moves the account to a higher risk tier with reduced leverage, and there is a clear path back to standard conditions.

1. Account tiers

  • Three tiers are available: CORE, PRO and PRIME. They differ in payout frequency, scaling plan, support priority and PRIME’s “Extra Life” insurance.
  • Account types:trading is available on prop (funded) accounts only. The personal account is a non-trading balance account — payouts are credited to it and challenge fees are paid from it; trading on it is disabled. Only prop accounts may be purchased.
  • Profit split:from 75% up to 90% of generated profits is paid to the trader, according to the payout ladder in Section 9.
  • Full tier pricing and benefits are shown on the pricing page; the trading rules below apply to all tiers unless stated otherwise.

2. Evaluation structure

The path to a funded account consists of a two-stage evaluation in a simulated environment.

  • Each stage: profit target 8%, no time limit.
  • Minimum trading days: 3 per stage. A trading day counts only if at least one position is opened that day.
  • Targets are measured on account balance with all positions closed.

3. Risk limits — account failure

  • Maximum Daily Loss — 5%.Measured against your balance at the start of the trading day (00:00 UTC) and includes open (floating) losses. Resets daily.
  • Maximum Total Loss — 10%. A static limit measured from your initial starting balance. It does not trail upward as profit grows.
  • Both limits are based on equity. Breaching either one fails the account.

Example. On a 10,000 USDT account: during a trading day your equity must not fall below 9,500 USDT (daily limit); and your equity must never fall below 9,000 USDT at any time (total limit).

4. Pass & payout conditions

These conditions do not fail the account. If they are not met, the account remains active and you continue trading until they are.

  • Minimum trading days: at least 3 per evaluation stage; at least 4 active trading days on a funded account before the first payout request.
  • Consistency:the profit of your single best day must not exceed a set share of the total profit across all profitable days — 40% during evaluation (Stage 1 and Stage 2) and 35% on funded accounts. While above the threshold, passing or payout is unavailable, but the account stays active.

5. Trading conditions

  • News trading: allowed.
  • Overnight and weekend holding: allowed.
  • Leverage: 1:10 base on all instruments.
  • Maximum risk per trade idea: 2% of account balance (floating or realized loss). A trade idea = positions in one instrument, in one direction, opened simultaneously or reopened within 2 minutes.
  • Minimum holding time: a volume-weighted average holding time (VWHT) of at least 60 seconds. Occasional shorter trades are tolerated; systematic ultra-short trading is addressed under Red Flags and Prohibited Practices.
  • Instruments: approximately 85 of the most liquid crypto perpetuals (a curated list published in the terminal). Account currency: USDT.
  • Copying your own trades across your own VEDEX accounts: allowed, including via software, and monitored under the Red Flag system.
  • Inactivity: if no trade is placed for 30 days, the account is closed automatically.

6. Prohibited practices — account failure

The following are genuine abuses, not trading styles. They lead to account closure and annulment of profits.

  • Exploiting platform errors, quote or feed delays, or external/slow data feeds.
  • Latency arbitrage and systematic high-frequency trading that exploits simulated execution.
  • Third-party account management; trading another person’s account.
  • Copying trades between different users’ accounts; sharing trade signals.
  • Coordinated hedging across accounts — opening opposite positions in the same instrument across accounts to guarantee that one account passes. Such activity is monitored and, where suspected, reviewed manually before any action is taken.
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or rules.
  • Providing false information during identity verification (KYC).

7. Red Flag & risk tier system

Behavior that indicates elevated risk or an attempt to game the evaluation does not close your account. Instead, the account is moved to a higher risk tier with reduced leverage. Your tier and the reason for it are shown in your dashboard.

TierLeverageCondition
Standard1:10Default.
Elevated Risk1:5One or more red flags. Soft review.
High Risk1:3Repeated or multiple red flags. Position-size limits; payouts via review.

Recovery: an account moves back one tier and leverage is restored after 10 trading days with no new red flags, or after one clean payout cycle. A red flag never fails the account on its own.

Examples of red-flag triggers

  • Position sizes persistently at or above the 2% risk limit, or far above your own average.
  • Repeated trades shorter than the minimum holding time.
  • Averaging into losses or grid-style stacking (3+ positions in one direction on one instrument).
  • Volume spikes around high volatility or news.
  • High concentration in a single instrument.
  • Erratic, inconsistent position sizing.
  • Identical mirror trading across your own accounts.
  • Multiple accounts accessed from one IP (monitoring; a shared IP alone is not a violation).

8. Scaling & Extra Life (funded accounts)

  • Fast Track (PRO): +25% capital for 10% total profit over an approximately 2-month period.
  • Easy Growth (PRIME): +30% capital for 6% total profit over an approximately 3-month period.
  • Extra Life (PRIME):a one-time forgiveness of a Maximum Daily Loss breach — the balance is reset to the starting value of the current stage. It does not apply to the Maximum Total Loss.
  • Scaling activates only after passing the evaluation and obtaining funded status.

9. Payouts

  • Profit split: from 75% to 90% of generated profits, according to the payout ladder below.
  • First payout: 75% of profits.
  • The split increases by 5 percentage points per step (80% → 85% → 90%) once two months have passed since the previous increase; the first period is counted from the first payout.
  • If less than two months have passed at the moment of a payout, the current rate applies.
  • Maximum profit split: 90%.
  • Payouts are made in USDT (for example, via TRC-20).
  • KYC identity verification is required before any payout.

Example.Your first payout is paid at 75%. A payout one month later is still paid at 75% (two months have not yet passed). Two months after the first payout the split rises to 80%, two months later to 85%, and after two more months to 90% — the maximum.

10. General provisions

  • Eligibility: 18+. Restricted jurisdictions and sanctioned persons are excluded as set out in the Terms of Service.
  • One account per person, except where expressly permitted.
  • VEDEX may update these Rules; material changes are published and take effect on publication or as otherwise notified.
  • These Rules are disclosed in full prior to purchase.

11. Acknowledgment
