This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit vedexprop.com and use our simulated trading platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide when registering, requesting information, or purchasing an Evaluation Challenge, as well as technical data collected automatically:
- Personal Information: name, email address, account passwords, and your cryptocurrency wallet address (e.g., USDT TRC-20) used for payouts.
- Verification Data (KYC/AML):government-issued identification (passport, driver’s license) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement), collected for AML compliance and to issue Funded account payouts.
- Technical & Usage Data: IP address, approximate geolocation derived from your IP address (used to enforce geo-blocking of restricted jurisdictions), device and browser fingerprint, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages viewed before and after accessing the Site.
- Trading Data: history of your simulated trades, risk metrics, and performance on our platform.
- Affiliate Data:if you participate in the Affiliate Program — identity verification (KYC) data, payout wallet address, referral statistics and related technical identifiers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create, manage, and secure your account.
- To process your cryptocurrency payments and issue profit split payouts.
- To manually verify your identity (KYC) before granting Funded Trader status.
- To enforce geo-blocking of restricted jurisdictions and detect its circumvention, including VPN or proxy signals and mismatches between your IP address and declared country of residence.
- To screen users and affiliate partners against international sanctions lists (OFAC SDN, UN, EU), as described in our KYC / AML Policy.
- To monitor trading activity for rule violations (e.g., prohibited HFT or arbitrage).
- To detect and prevent fraud, multiple accounts, and coordinated trading across accounts, including by analyzing technical identifiers such as IP address and device fingerprint (legitimate-interest / fraud-prevention basis).
- To send administrative information, updates, and security alerts.
- To respond to legal requests and prevent harm or fraud.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following situations:
- Service Providers: third-party vendors performing services for us (e.g., email delivery, server hosting, crypto payment gateways).
- Compliance Providers: sanctions-screening and blockchain-analytics providers used to perform the AML checks described in our KYC / AML Policy.
- Legal Obligations: where required by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles or international regulatory bodies, to comply with legal process or investigate fraud.
- Business Transfers: in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
4. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Manual KYC documents are stored on secure, encrypted servers and accessed only by authorized compliance personnel. While we take reasonable steps to secure your data, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal and verification data — including that of affiliate partners — for as long as your account is active and, thereafter, for the periods required by applicable AML law: at minimum five (5) years after account closure or your last transaction, whichever is later, as set out in our KYC / AML Policy.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and similar technologies to customize the Site and improve your experience. You can remove or reject cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect the availability and functionality of the Site.
7. Your Data Rights
Depending on your location (such as the GDPR for European users), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Request the deletion of your personal data (Right to be Forgotten), except for data we are legally required to retain for AML purposes.
